This is one
of those stories that were lost in time, are blurred between legend and
reality. The year was 1912, in a small village far from civilization and north
of the British Isles were prepared as usual to celebrate Halloween.
Cobbled
streets, dingy and old formed the typical image of small English villages. In
this town lived a humble family of: dad, Jack practicing medical doctor work in
a small open consultation in the attic of the house. Anne, the mother, devoted
to housework and fond of sewing and her two children, aged 14 Tom and Peter of
13 were two very anxious but polite.
This family
like every year he decorated the house for Halloween nigh , Anne manufactured
with a few old sheets ghost costumes for children while Jack decorated the
house with pumpkins as a head and fabrics spider with white sewing thread.
It was just
before dinner, when Peter remembered that in the attic had a rusty chains for
ghost costume. It would be perfect and went forward with the unfinished
costume. He wear the costume and ignited a candle to be going to look for the
chains.
There
happened to search the stacked boxes when Peter found that parchment, old and
dusty was guarding a mysterious curse.
A curse
related to Halloween night, and that would make that any person who reads it
would transform in the costume that was wear.
Peter
thought it was a joke that he was spending his brother Tom always joking and
without fuss read that mysterious scroll.
Peter never
went down the attic, and no one heard from him. The people say that Peter has
today appears on Halloween night become ghost avoiding whatever comes to read
the parchment to avoid falling into this terrible curse.
Still hear
the voices of that naughty child and the sound of chains dragging. That little
village, is now a ghost town that nobody wants to know your location.
